The house is located at Portuguese west coast mid-way from Mafra, a pretty little Portuguese town that contains one of Europe’s largest and most extravagant palaces, and the beautiful villages of Medieval Óbidos and Caldas da Rainha.
At the coast line, the Portuguese Silver coast (Costa de Prata) you will find the beautiful beaches of Peniche, Nazaré, Areia Branca and São Martinho do Porto.
Just 90 km from Lisbon. It is easy to get to Bombarral, especially by train, by bus, or by car, even more convenient once you learn how many things are there to see in its surroundings. The A8, called in Portuguese: Auto-estrada do Oeste, is a motorway connecting Lisbon and Leiria via Caldas da Rainha, passing by Torres Vedras and Ericeira.
The way-out “Bombarral” is just behind The Minimal House. From Lisbon is 50 minutes driving. To Peniche, just take the A8 Norte, and then the IP6. In 20 minutes you are at the best Portuguese waves.
